Visamenu allows you to access information on the go via SMS.

How it works

Dial *444*100# (or send 100 to 444); you will receive the menu below via SMS.

To access any of the menu items above, simply dial *444* followed by the required service

code e.g. for Call me, dial *444*130# or send 130 to 444; this will provide information on how to access the call me service.

Tariff Migrations

The Tariff Migration service allows you to migrate from one tariff plan to another based on your preferences. This migration is performed directly by you without the need to call the call center for assistance.

How it works

Dial *444*110# (or send 110 to 444); you will receive the menu below via SMS.

If you dial *444*111# (or send 111 to 444), you will get migrated to the Visa Entree

tariff package. Your first migration to any plan is free, but you will be charged a

migration fee for subsequent migrations. Note: All prepaid RUIM cards will be on visa entrée by default.

Your first migration is free, but subsequent migrations will be charged at 50 naira.

Friends and family

The friends and family service allows you to add other Visafone numbers to your prepaid profile; calls to numbers in your family and friends profile will be discounted.

How it works

To add a family number, dial *445*number*pos# The available number positions for

familyand friends will depend on the current configured plan;

Visa Entrée = 2 numbers

•

Visa World = 4 numbers

•

Visa Profit = 2 numbers

•

All Post Paid plans = 4 numbers

You can add/change numbers to specific positions, however there will only be a

maximum of 4 family numbers at any one time for the visaworld plan and two each for the visa entree and visaprofit plans.

Family numbers added can be replaced at anytime.

You will be charged N50 (fifty naira) for every number added or modified

Call Me

This service allows you to request a call back without resorting to “flashing”.

This service is free.

How it works

Dial *446*number# or *446*number*type#. Where “type” is any number from 1-3

Share Ur Visa

This service allows you to send some of your airtime to another Visafone subscriber.

How it works

Dial *447*amount*number#

•

Number : the subscriber you want to receive airtime

•

Amount: the amount of airtime you would like to transfer in naira.

You will get a confirmation message via SMS.

Credit Me

This service allows you to request airtime from a friend. This service is free.

How it works

Dial *448*number*amount# (or send number SPACE amount to 448). Where;

•

Number: the subscriber you want to request airtime from.

•

Amount: the amount of airtime you would like to be credited in naira.

You will get the message below via SMS;

Your creditme request to 07025040041 has been sent. [Advert: Get the latest local and international news headlines.. dial *444*203#].

Your friend will get an SMS notification similar to below;

Hi, please send me NGN XXX airtime. Dial *447*number*amount# [Advert: Dial *444*100# for the Visafone SMS Menu].

You can send only 5 creditme request per day.

How it works

Dial *444*200# (or send 200 to 444), to download the Information Services menu

below.

To request any specific service type, dial *444* the service code (or send

SERVICECODE to

444). Eg, for jokes, dial *444*201# (or send 201 to 444), you will get a new joke every time you dial the number.

Chat

This service allows you to chat anonymously with anyone on the Chat service on the Visafone network.

How it works

The system will respond with a message like below;

Send your nickname, age, sex, location: Eg johnny 21 Male lagos.

If entered nickname is longer than 6 characters, it will be truncated and if a duplicate

exists; a random 3 digit number will be appended.

The system will respond with your assigned nickname and request you enter a

description of yourself like below;

Your nickname is johnny114. Please enter a description of yourself in a few words eg: single and available, smart and fun loving.

After entering a description of yourself, the system responds;

You are now registered with vChat. Send HLP to view the list of available commands.

The available system commands are listed below;

HLP:

Receive the list of all available commands. HLP FIN will give you more information on the FIN command

•

FIN keyword:

find profiles of people who are ready to communicate with you, matching “keyword”. Where “keyword” can be any combination of age, sex, or location. Eg: FIN Female lagos, or FIN female

•

PRO name:

The PRO command is used to query for the full profile of any nickname returned in the above command.

•

CON name:Communicate with any nickname returned by the FIN command above.

•

UPD age sex location:

update your profile: eg: UPD 22 Male Ibadan. To update your profile, you must enter the correct details.

•

NAM: Change your nickname.

•

BYE: end a conversation politely but remain in the chat room.

•

ESC:Exit the chat room. Other room mates will no longer see you online.

Your nickname will be saved on the system for a duration of 14 days such that if they

send CHAT to 449 in the future, you get a welcome message immediately;

You can chat with only one person at a time.
