Visa Voice SMS

 

Visa Voice SMS is a service that allows Visafone subscribers to send voice messages to other mobile phone users or reply text messages with verbal responses. It addresses
the issue of not knowing what to write in an SMS as words are more expressive and also deals with the issues of illiteracy.
It all so provides the advantage to send messages in ones preferred language which
adds a personal dimension to messaging. This service also caters for the messaging
needs of the visually impaired or elderly.

 
Features
Arrow Compose and send a Voice message to a recipient on-net and off-net.
Arrow Listen to the new messages received.
Arrow Listen to the old (previously listened to) messages.
Arrow Replying a message.
Arrow Forwarding a message.
Arrow Saving a Message.
Arrow Deleting a message.
 
How It Works
Arrow The user will dial * followed by the recipient's mobile number. For example if the
  recipient's mobile number is 07025000000, the user should dial *07025000000.
Above is also applicable for off-net numbers. E.g. *08020000000.
Arrow The user will hear the welcome message followed by a prompt to record the message
  at the tone and this message can be recorded for a maximum 45 seconds.
Arrow When done recording, the user should hang up to send the message or press any
  key for options.
   

The user has the following options:

- Send the recorded voice message by pressing 1or hanging up.
- Review the recorded voice message by pressing 2.
- Delete the voice message by pressing 3.
- Schedule message for a later time by pressing 4.
- Cancel sending of the recorded voice message by pressing *.

Listening to New Voice Messages
Whenever an on-net user gets a new voice message the User is notified via SMS
"Hi, i have sent you a voice SMS. To listen to new messages dial *0*.
To listen to old messages dial *1* Thanks."
Arrow

Whenever an off-net user gets a new voice message the User is notified via SMS

  "Hi, i have sent you a voice SMS.
To listen dial 07025800000. To listen again, dial 07025800001."
Arrow The user can listen to all new messages by dialling the following numbers as applicable
  a. If the user is on-net *0* should be dialled.
b. If the user is off-net 07025800000 should be dialled.
Arrow Once one of the access codes is dialled the user should hear a welcome message
  followed by the information about the number of the new messages in the users'
inbox.
Arrow All new voice messages will be played one by one starting with the most recent
  message received.
Arrow At the end of every message, a beep would be heard indicating the end of the
  message.There will be silence for one second before the next message is played.
Arrow At the end the user would hear a good bye message.
  While listening to a voice message, the user has the following options:
  Reply to the message by pressing 1. To save the message press 5.
  Skip listening to the message by pressing #.
Hear more options by pressing 9.
Once the user presses 9 , the user is given the following additional options:
Arrow To reply press 1
Arrow To repeat the message press 2.
Arrow To delete the message press 3.
Arrow To forward the message press 4.
Arrow Press hash to skip and 9 to hear this menu again

Arrow When a new message is read or skipped, it is marked as an old message and the
  sender receives an SMS notification that the message has been read.
Arrow The user can stop listening by hanging up. In this case, unheard messages will
  remain as new messages and you can listen to them by dialling *0*.
Arrow The user can listen to a specific new messages by dialling the following numbers as applicable:
a. If the user is on-net direct access codes are supported. , e.g. 50010.(please note
that this access code will not be available during the trial period)
b. If the user is off-network direct access codes in the following format are dialled,
e.g. 0702500000.
 
 
   
 
Listening to old Voice Messages
  The user can listen to all old messages by dialling the following numbers as applicable:.
a. On-net users will dial *1*
b. If the user is off-net 07025800001 is dialled to listen to the message as an old
  message
Arrow You will hear the welcome message followed by information about the number of the
old messages in your inbox.
Arrow All old voice messages will be played one by one starting with the most current
message.
Arrow At the end of every message, a beep will be heard indicating the end of the message. There will be a silence of one second before the next message is played.
Arrow At the end you will hear a good bye message.

Replying a message
 
Arrow The user has the option to reply a message while/after listening to a message
  whether it is old or new by pressing 1.
Arrow The user would hear prompt to record the message at the tone. The user can record
  a voice message for a maximum 45 seconds.
Arrow When done recording, the user should hang up to send the message or press any
  key for options.
On finishing the recording of the voice message by pressing any key, the user has
the following options:
- Send the recorded voice message by pressing 1 or hanging up.
Review the recorded voice message by pressing 2.
- Erase and re record the voice message by pressing 3.
- Cancel sending of the recorded voice message by pressing *.
- Hear the options prompt again by pressing any other key (other than 1, 2, 3 or *).

Forwarding a message

Arrow The user has the option to forward a message to a recipient after listening to the
  message whether it is old or new by pressing 4.
Arrow In order to forward a message to a recipient the user should enter the recipient's
  phone number.
Arrow If the user provides an invalid input (No Input / Invalid number) then the following
  sequence is followed:
  a. The system prompts the user 4 times maximum for correct input.
b. If the user fails to provide the correct input in 4 attempts then the message is cancelled. After this, the next old or new (depending on whether the user was
listening to old or new messages) message is played.
Arrow If the user has provided a valid input then the following sequence is followed:
  a. The voice prompt confirms the number that was entered.
b. The user is asked to confirm the number by pressing 1 or to cancel by pressing *.
c. If the user presses 1, then the message is forwarded and the prompt is played informing the user that the message has been forwarded.
d. If the user has presses * the message forwarding is cancelled and a prompt is
played informing the user on the same.

Saving a message

Arrow The user has the option to save a message after listening to the message whether
  it is old or new by pressing 5.
  Once the User presses 5, the message is saved and the user is notified by a prompt
that the message has been saved, and the next message is heard if there is any.
  If the limit on the number of saved messages is crossed, the user would not be able
to save the message and an appropriate prompt would be heard. The limit on the number of messages that can be saved is 20.

Arrow 1st Retrieval is Free.
Arrow Subsequent retrieval is 15k\sec.
   
Kindly Note that :
- When replying or forwarding messages during first retrieval, the subscriber is
charged N10 only (on-net) and N15 only (off-net) for the reply or forward.
- When replying or forwarding messages during second retrieval, the subscriber is
charged N10 + 15k\sec (on-net) and N15 +15k\sec (off-net) for the reply or forward.
